This commission from David Hull arrived in March 2014. It was a busy start to the year for the annealing furnaces! David's goal was to develop a classic two-part, little-bell bob calling by mixing in a set of methods selected not just for their individual excellence, but for how well they worked together in spliced. In this I think he has been very successful: as we've seen, Bristol and Triton do not sit easily together, but with the addition of Eagle Nebula, Pollokshields and Sgurr A'Chaorachain a varied selection of course structures becomes available, including splices (between calls) containing all five methods.
A number of different "seed" bob-callings, including five or six from David himself, were tried and discarded before the perfect two-part fit was discovered.
Music is listed as LB4/LB5/56-rollups front and back.
